Commercial real estate companies have once again been coming to the aid of hospitals across Poland. Dinners, healthy snacks, pizzas, sandwiches and plates of sushi are being sent to the doctors, nurses, midwives and paramedics working to save lives and safeguard the health of their patients, and who have no time to prepare their own lunch or dinner while on a 24-hour shift. During the current campaign 10,500 meals have already been supplied to hospitals.
Master Management Group (MMG) has been granted an occupancy permit for its Hi Piotrkowska complex, which has already become a landmark of Łódź. In December the first tenants are gradually to start their operations from the main building. As Covid-19 squeezes demand for offices, shared workspace provider IWG (IWG) is set to place its Jersey-based subsidiary, Regus plc, into insolvency. The move is designed to send a signal to landlords that unless they are prepared to lower their rents, IWG is willing to walk away from its lease obligations.
The world leader in mobile broadband has decided to extend its lease agreements with Globalworth for the space it occupies in the West Gate and West Link office buildings in Wrocław. The contract, which covers an area of nearly 30,000 sqm, is the largest lease agreement signed in a Polish regional city this year.
