Aleksandra Chojnacka, associate director at CBRE, stresses that the key criterion for choosing the new location was both its attractiveness and the character of the building itself. Bellona's historic edifice, which is part of the modern complex The Bridge, perfectly met these needs. "The unique combination of the historic character of the former printing house with modern architecture has a unique character on a Warsaw scale. The building also meets the highest environmental standards," Chojnacka points out.

Plac Europejski, known for its numerous cultural events, and the historic walls of the former Bellona building create ideal conditions for the cultural activities of the French Institute, which promotes French culture in Poland. The Institute is part of a global network that includes 98 institutes around the world and 830 establishments of Alliances françaises, eight of which are located in Poland, including Warsaw and Krakow.

The Bridge complex - modernity and ecology

The Bridge is a modern office complex under construction at Plac Europejskie in the Wola district. It consists of two buildings: the historic Bellona Publishing House and a modern 40-story skyscraper. Together they will provide 52,000 sqm of office space.

The Bridge complex will be equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and environmentally friendly solutions, as evidenced by the Platinum-level SmartScore and WiredScore certificates already obtained. The project is also planned for certification under the WELL, BREEAM, Green Building Standard and Barrier Free Facility standards. The project aims to achieve energy neutrality, which is in line with Ghelamco's ESG strategy. The complex will be powered by 100% clean energy, and a terrace on the 40th floor will be provided for users of the skyscraper.

BREEAM certification

The Bridge development will be BREEAM-certified, highlighting its commitment to the highest environmental standards. You can read more about BREEAM certification here.
