The second phase of the Skyliner complex, located at Daszyńskiego Roundabout in Warsaw, includes a 130-meter-high tower with 28 floors. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026. The office building will offer 24,000 sqm of leasable space, of which 23,000 sqm will be used for offices and nearly 1,000 sq m for retail and service units on the first floor. An additional attraction is the 900 sqm terrace-gardens that will be available on the building's top floors.
BREEAM certification: a priority in ESG strategyThe BREEAM certification process was overseen by experts from JWA, a company that specializes in multi-criteria evaluation of buildings. As Szymon Zduńczyk, board member and managing director at Karimpol Poland, emphasized:
"When developing Skyliner I, ESG issues were a priority for us and we wanted our project to meet the highest environmental and social standards. Thanks to the high parameters we were able to achieve, the office building is environmentally friendly, user-friendly and friendly to the environment in which it operates. Already at the stage of conceptual work on the second tower, we raised the bar even higher, and thanks to cooperation with architects from APA Wojciechowski Architekci and the JWA team, we achieved the highest level of certification - Outstanding."
JWA expert Blazej Szymczynski adds:
"Certifying office buildings and confirming that they have as low an environmental impact as possible is a necessary part of pursuing an ESG-conscious strategy for companies that build, manage or buy this type of real estate. For us, the Skyliner II project is more than just the process of assessing and implementing recommendations. Any building of this magnitude affects the daily lives of the neighborhood, neighbors and employees, and we can contribute to making sure it is built wisely and with each of these groups in mind."
