A new restaurant at Hala Koszyki

Kasia Błońska and Tomek Czudowski unveil their next big culinary concept

Hala Koszyki, Warsaw’s landmark food hall and meeting point, is about to welcome another extraordinary venue. In mid-2025, the culinary offer of Hala Koszyki will be enriched by an original concept from Katarzyna Błońska and Tomasz Czudowski — acclaimed restaurateurs behind renowned spots like “alewino”, Muzealna, Cafe Pląs, and Cafe Podrygi.

Passion, experience and flavor

The new restaurant will focus on seasonal cuisine inspired by flavors from across the globe, crafted with top-quality ingredients. Guests can also expect an exceptional wine list, a curated selection of spirits, and a diverse range of low- and non-alcoholic drinks — all served in a warm, authentic setting where quality meets creativity.

A space that speaks for itself

“We’ve been living in Warsaw’s southern city center for 25 years — it’s our home. When Weronika from Koszyki invited us to see this space, we immediately felt it was the right fit. We love places where history meets brutalist architecture — and the hidden patio was the cherry on top. We could already picture ourselves having dinner there on a warm summer night,” says Katarzyna Błońska.

Design that makes a statement

The interior design has been entrusted to Łoskiewicz Studio, a team known for blending modern aesthetics with timeless elegance. The space will feature custom-designed furniture inspired by the early 20th-century architecture of Hala Koszyki, as well as carefully selected icons of both Polish and global design. The goal? To create a space that guests won’t forget.

The restaurant will span over 200 sqm and, uniquely, will include an exclusive garden area — a feature that has never before been accessible to visitors of Hala Koszyki.

A team that brings the vision to life

At the helm of the kitchen stands Janek Kilański — a chef with international experience in Spain and Denmark, and former owner of restaurants in Gdynia. For him, cooking is a way to tell stories and express emotions through flavor.

“A restaurant is built by its people. Our biggest challenge is to create a close-knit, passionate team — and so far, things are going really well,” says Tomasz Czudowski.

Strategic growth through quality and originality

The new restaurant fits perfectly into Hala Koszyki’s long-term strategy — combining culinary excellence with cutting-edge design and a rich cultural calendar. “We’re incredibly excited to welcome this new concept. Having such experienced and respected restaurateurs on board is a strong signal that Koszyki continues to inspire and attract the best,” says Weronika Maria Kuna, MRICS, Asset Management and Leasing Manager, Globalworth Poland.
