The current headquarters of the Gdańsk courts are located in historic buildings that do not meet modern requirements. The decision to relocate the Labor and Social Insurance Divisions and the Intellectual Property Division to Tryton Business House will enhance working conditions and improve space organization.
The new headquarters will cover a total of 2,800 m², with the Regional Court occupying 1,900 m² and the Court of Appeal 800 m².
– Our priority was to improve working conditions for judges and administrative staff while also ensuring greater comfort for the public. The new location allows us to better organize the space and tailor it to our needs – says Judge Łukasz Zioła, spokesperson for the Regional Court in Gdańsk.
Modern Infrastructure and Functional Space Division
Moving to a modern office building means adapting the space to the specific needs of the courts. On the 2nd and 3rd floors of Tryton Business House, the following facilities will be established:
Courtrooms and administrative areas, Office spaces for judges and staff, Social facilities and archives, Advanced security systems and acoustic solutions, Zoned air conditioning and dedicated sanitary facilities.
– When choosing a new location, our key considerations were security, accessibility, and work comfort. Tryton Business House meets all these requirements – emphasizes Judge Rafał Terlecki, spokesperson for the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk.
Prime Location – Easy Access for Citizens
The new court headquarters is located in the center of Gdańsk, significantly improving accessibility for visitors. The proximity to the train station, bus stops, and tram connections will facilitate travel for both city residents and those coming from outside Gdańsk.
Additionally, employees and visitors will benefit from various amenities, including:
A canteen and café within the office complex, Underground parking and bicycle infrastructure, Electric vehicle charging stations. Modern Office Buildings – A New Standard for Public Institutions
More and more public institutions are opting for relocation to office buildings managed by Globalworth and other specialized firms. This approach optimizes costs while ensuring high-quality and flexible office spaces.
– Public institutions are increasingly choosing modern office spaces instead of historic buildings. This offers greater flexibility and allows organizations to adapt their spaces to changing needs – notes Beata Lewandowska, Senior Consultant at JLL Poland, responsible for advising on the transaction.
A New Standard of Work for Gdańsk Courts
The relocation of the Regional Court and the Court of Appeal to Tryton Business House is an important step toward modernization and improved efficiency in the judicial system. The new infrastructure, enhanced space organization, and excellent location will contribute to a more effective handling of court cases while providing a more comfortable environment for both employees and citizens.
