Rental income increased by 1.5 pct to EUR 119.9 mln and EBITDA stood at EUR 114.9 mln up 27 pct. Net profit came to EUR 171.3 mln (significantly above the previous year´s EUR 44.7 mln).
We look back on the first half of 2021 and at a stable operating performance. In a market that remains subdued due to ongoing work-from-home discussions and new virus variants, we achieved good leasing results and successfully moved on with our sales and development pipeline. Our strategic capital rotation programme to sell non-strategic properties with the proceeds being used to fund our German development pipeline and purchase office buildings that have good cash flow and additional development potential is highly profitable and contributed significantly to our earnings growth in the first half of 2021.
